KFRI completed a three-day training course on “Landslide risk management and mitigation strategies” from October 22 to 24th, Oct. 2024. The programme was inaugurated by Pramod G. Krishnan IFS., Addl. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Administration) & Chief Wildlife Warden, Kerala.

S, Department of Geology, Kerala University., Mr. Srinivasan R, Program Head, ICFOSS, Trivandrum led classes on various topics.

Dr. Kannan Warrier, Director, KFRI made the special address and distribution of certificates for the participants from LSGDs, Forest Departments, etc., Dr. AV Raghu, Dr. Sreejith and Dr. Sreekumar VB., Principal Scientists, KFRI coordinated the overall programme.
