KFRI hosted an engaging invited lecture titled "Seeing the Forests Through Lasers: Opportunities and Challenges," presented by Dr. Sruthi M. Krishnan Moorthy, a Smithsonian-Pembroke Junior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, UK. This event was part of our ongoing Golden Jubilee celebrations.
Held on November 7, 2024, the lecture brought together forestry enthusiasts and experts to explore the innovative use of laser technology in forest research. Dr. Sruthi shared groundbreaking insights, highlighting new possibilities and challenges in leveraging lasers to understand and conserve forest ecosystems.
