The technical sessions focused on human-wildlife interactions and conflict management, covering topics such as understanding animal behaviour and recognizing signs of conflict. Participants learned general measures to follow in the field, how to handle conflict situations, and the protocols for rescue operations.
The second session addressed hunting and wildlife trade, discussing common hunting methods, the driving factors behind such practices, and prevalent superstitions. It also examined the impact of hunting on wildlife conservation.
The concluding session focused on zoonotic diseases, offering important insights into Anthrax, Nipah, Kyasanur Forest Disease, Rabies, and Leptospirosis.
A practical demonstration of basic first-aid techniques was conducted at the end of the technical sessions, explaining essential first-aid procedures.
